It’s easy to feel unsure what to say – or worry about saying the wrong thing. That fear can get in the way of the conversations that really matter.
At Belonging Base, we create safe spaces to explore those conversations. Our talks aren’t lectures – they’re honest, human sessions led by people who’ve lived through it and supported others along the way.

We’re Sophie and Danielle Wood – a couple, business partners, and inclusion professionals with decades of experience in people, culture and HR.
Sophie transitioned over a decade ago. Danielle supported her personally and professionally through every stage of that journey. We speak from both perspectives – what it’s like to transition, and what it’s like to walk beside someone you love while they do.
Together, we’ve worked with organisations large and small. Sophie has been part of national-level consultation work and contributed to the CIPD guidance on Trans and Non-Binary Inclusion at Work.
